Tanzania Medical Mission

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to practice medicine in a remote village in a third world country where you would rely on your skills, observation and your gut instinct? Join us as we travel to northern Tanzania, Africa, to provide medical assistance in a humanitarian effort in May 2025. Teri Priebe and Becky Van Renan will escort this important mission.

This opportunity will provide a stimulating challenge with the chance to diagnose and treat people with just a hand full of test equipment and a few bags of medicine. You may encounter some of the things that you have only read about in medical books.
There is a need for non-medical volunteers as well. You could help distribute vitamins and toothbrushes, assist in testing and fitting eyeglasses, teach how to effectively brush teeth or wash hands, help with crowd control or serve as a runner for supplies. The most important task is showing the people that you really care.
If you join us on this humanitarian venture, you will spend 9 days in Tanzania; 4-5 days of mobile clinics and 4 days of enjoying the friendly people and beautiful countryside, including a 2-day safari to the world famous wildlife reserves - Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
This trip includes:
-- 8 nights' accommodations
-- All meals (3 per day) & bottled water
-- 2 day safari including All Park and Conservation fees and Safari Vehicles
-- All ground transportation while in Africa with English speaking guide
-- Tanzania Visa fee
